October 2016 (1)After a few doubts about village shows I can honestly say that Gransden is still wonderful. It retains that agricultural show feel, with cows, sheep and pigs being shown as well as the horses. It was well attended and whilst not having quite as many horses as it used to attract, it certainly had far more than Ashwell. Cambs Hunt Pony club put on a good display at lunchtime with some games and I'm hoping to do some more with the pony club in the future. It was a shame that only three teams registered for the Kessingland Tug of War Festival but they looked like they were having fun anyway.
